Communications Specialist

eQHealth Solutions, healthcare quality improvement company operating in four states with corporate offices in Baton Rouge, is seeking an experienced communications specialist who is skilled in design and layout of printed materials using Adobe Professional 8 or 9, Office 2007,  Adobe InDesign (CS 3 or 4) and Dreamweaver/Flash. 

The individual will have a broad range of other organization duties that include assisting the Communications Department in proofing, publishing and organization of special events.  All work will be conducted at the corporate offices in Baton Rouge.  Two or four year degree in Journalism, Communications or English with two to three years of communications/PR or advertising experience required.

Director of Product Support Services

eQHealth Solutions, a Medicaid utilization review and quality improvement organization, is seeking a dynamic individual who will, under the general direction of the CIO, provide leadership and supervision to a group that will be responsible for developing and implementing IT and business initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the corporation.  This individual will establish and manage project management procedures, metrics and tools, develop and document standard processes and methodologies and create methodology templates for use by staff. In addition, monitor effectiveness and efficiency of staff resources, provide scheduling support of project resources and develop training and supporting materials and deliver training to staff. Lead the coaching and mentoring of staff on expectations, deliverables and overall project control. Provide an effective liaison between the business departments and IT. Position requires approximately 30% travel to client locations and corporate offices.

Successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years experience in developing software systems in clinical environments and a minimum of six (6) years of project management experience in a software development environment with a minimum of at least 3 years managing/supervising project managers.

Experience setting up a PMO and with SDLC (PMBOK/SCRUM) strongly preferred. Experience with Project Portfolio Management including Risk Management, Change Management and Governance required. Strong organizational and communication skills a must and PMP certification desired.

The position will be responsible for market research, assisting with proposal development and providing sales and marketing support.

Successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree with some experience in a healthcare related field and with market research preferred. Excellent computer knowledge with demonstrated web research skills a must.  Candidates should have analytical expertise and very strong organizational, verbal and written communications abilities and be able to work with minimal direct supervision.  Some background with developing and making presentations is a plus.
