Director, Pediatric Care Coordination

eQHealth Solutions Inc., a leading healthcare quality improvement and utilization review organization,  has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic healthcare professional. The position assumes responsibility, accountability and leadership for the Pediatric Care Coordination program including supervision of nursing staff.

This position will work directly with the clinical director and pediatric associate medical director to define program strategy, organization and operation. This role is responsible for understanding, evaluating and demonstrating the success of the program based on outcomes, cost savings and other measures. Program success will be documented in papers, reports and presentations that will be presented to senior management.

Successful candidates will have prior experience in a leadership role with a care coordination or case management program. Staff supervision experience required. Experience with managed care and Medicaid preferred. Clinical background with pediatrics a plus. Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred. Some in-state travel will be required.



Executive Director - Florida Division

This position is a challenging, exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced, dynamic health care management professional to manage the Florida Division of eQHealth Solutions.

The Executive Director position provides the strategic management and oversight for this operation. It is responsible for providing the leadership and direction of all operations and staff, the quality of customer service to the client, and for all contracted deliverables. Maintains direct budget authority for all contract operations. Has decision-making authority to modify services or execute improvements in delivery of services.

Successful candidate will have a Master’s Degree in public health, public administration, hospital administration, nursing or business and seven years clinical or other position related exp. Plus 5 years. of senior level management experience. Must be able to develop and maintain strategic relationships. Strategic planning and strong organizational and motivational skills as well as excellent oral and written communications abilities a must.



Utilization Management Coordinator

eQHealth Solutions, a Medicaid utilization review and quality improvement organization, has opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who has knowledge of ICD-9 coding and medical terminology. This position is responsible for receiving, sorting, scanning and routing documents to appropriate medical records.

Successful applicants will have a high school diploma, will have a minimum of one year of experience with Microsoft  products and be proficient with word processing. The position requires attention to detail, accuracy, strong communications and organizational skills and must be a self starter.



Nursing Home Pediatric Care Coordinator, RN

eQHealth Solutions, Inc., a leading healthcare quality improvement and utilization review organization, has an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse with pediatric background.  This position will be primarily responsible for all case management activities involving children with complex medical conditions and their families.  The position will also be responsible for health care transition from a skilled nursing inpatient facility to the home.  In collaboration with other healthcare providers, develop and implement an interdisciplinary plan of care that addresses the child’s ongoing healthcare needs.  The successful candidate must have an active, unrestricted registered nurse license in the state of Florida with a minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience.  Successful candidate must be able to travel to the child’s place of residence, must be able to work independently, be well organized, able to prioritize projects and assignments in a timely manner and must have excellent interpersonal skills. Occasional overnight travel may be required.  



Pediatric Care Coordination RN


eQHealth Solutions, Inc., a leading healthcare quality improvement and utilization review organization, has an excellent opportunity for Registered Nurses. This position will be responsible for case management of medically complex situations involving children and their families. Will be responsible to oversee the coordination and approval of private duty nursing services in the home and will determine the objectives and goals to ensure adequate coverage authorization within the mandated Medicaid guidelines and criteria. Evaluates and modifies the plan of care as needed.  Regularly communicates changes to the family, healthcare team, and other agencies involved. Maintains system for tracking all incoming and outgoing correspondence in accordance with timelines and requirements.  BSN preferred.

The successful candidate will have an active, unrestricted Florida registered nurse license with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in pediatrics. At least 6-12 months experience in home health and some case management experience strongly preferred. Successful candidate will be able to work independently, be proficient with Microsoft Office products and have the ability to prioritize and meet timelines. Interactions with families may require evening or weekend commitments.  Occasional overnight travel may be required.



Software Developer

eQHealth Solutions seeks a Software Developer to be involved in the full lifecycle development of healthcare applications including software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis and software reliability analysis.  Duties include:


Requirements:  Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or Engineering plus five (5) years of progressive experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or similar.  In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science of Engineering plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst or similar.  Experience, which may be gained concurrently, to include two years of full lifecycle application development using .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript.
